Job Description:

As a Finance Executive - Recovery, you will play a key role in managing outstanding payments, ensuring timely recovery from clients, and maintaining strong client relationships. You will serve as a liaison between the finance team and clients to ensure proper collection, dispute resolution, and adherence to payment timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow up with clients for outstanding payments through calls, emails, and in-person meetings.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with client finance teams to ensure smooth recovery.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (sales, account management, finance) to resolve client billing or service-related disputes.
  • Monitor accounts receivable reports and take proactive measures for overdue accounts.
  • Maintain proper documentation of recovery activities, client communications, and payment commitments.
  • Ensure escalation of chronic defaulters to senior management and provide periodic recovery status reports.
  • Assist in legal proceedings related to recovery, if required.
  • Contribute to process improvements for faster collections and reduced outstanding receivables.

Required Skills:
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
  • Ability to handle difficult conversations professionally with clients.
  • Basic understanding of financial accounting, invoicing, and reconciliation.
  • Good analytical skills to track receivables and identify payment patterns.
